- Wear scarves to avoid soiling the collars – especially with leather and suede coats
- Avoid hanging your coat by its “neck” on a coat rack – use a sturdy, non-wire hanger
- Air-dry wet coats at room temperature – never expose to heat unless directed by the care label
- Clean your coat whenever it is soiled immediately AND at least once during the season AND before you store it
- ALWAYS follow the care label instructions for cleaning your coat
- NEVER store coats or ANY garments in plastic poly bags – it promotes light damage and mildew which can permanently damage your coat
